During the meeting, Deputy secretary-general of Cangzhou municipality and director TIAN Yongbin introduced the development of Cangzhou and Cooperation Zone to Ms Manika separately. H.E. Ms Manika expressed her praise for the prospect and showed great support for project landing. Later, representative of Riga Paint plant, president of Rilak and Cooperation Zone jointly signed Strategic Cooperation Memorandum. LV Rongfeng, deputy secretary-general, Maija Manika, ambassador of Latvia in Beijing, SUN Shouchang, secretary of Bureau of Commerce in Cangzhou, commercial counsellor of embassy of Latvia in Beijing witnessed the event.
There are four agreements reached in this cooperation memorandum: first, Latvia Riga Paint Plant will set branch in Cooperation Zone and positively involved in construction and development of China-CEEC business center project. Second, plant positively transforms the subsidiary in Cooperation Zone into a marketing operation center in Cangzhou and Hebei Province. Third, based on the cooperation between two parties, plant provides support and investment for education, Public health and care and charity. Fourth, Rilak Co., Ltd, as the general agency in China , will handle all the cooperation affairs with China-CEEC SME Cooperation Zone.
This cooperation signing is a breakthrough for Cooperation Zone constructing China-CEECs special products exhibition and trade basement. The settlement of this project will be a start for cooperation between China and Latvia.
