On November 18, 2020, the final of the CEEC Sub-Contest of “Maker in China” International SME Innovation &Entrepreneurship Contest and Matchmaking Conference between China and CEEC SMEs (Online) was held in Beijing.
The conference is organized by China International Cooperation Association of SMEs, Secretariat for Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries, China Centre for Promotion of SME Development, China-CEEC SME Cooperation Zone in Cangzhou and supported by Department of Industry and Information Technology of Hebei Province, China and People’s Government of Cangzhou Municipality.
Influenced by the epidemic, the conference was held online, all the participates attended the conference via Zoom video meeting App. There are 300 enterprises involving four industrial fields such as general aviation, industry manufacturing, commercial trade and Sino-Hungary symposium showed up and conducted matchmaking on the conference. There are totally 34 cooperation intent reached and 19 cooperation memorandums signed during the conference. During the event, China-CEEC SME Research Institute was officially founded and the founding ceremony was held in Beijing. 10 contestants from Central and Eastern European countries were selected to hold their roadshow and Top 3 were given awards after the contest.
The conference insists the guide of XI Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a new era and implement the expound of XI Jinping about building community of shared future for mankind, deeply integrate belt and road initiative and China-CEEC 17+1 cooperation to build a exchange mechanism of enhancing sustainable development of SME cooperation in both online and offline modes, cultivating new development motivation, pushing upgradation of Economic structure, expanding high-level opening-up, reaching win-win position for SME between China and Central and Eastern European countries.
Leaders of Ministry of Commerce, China Centre for Promotion of SME Development, Bureau of SME of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Department of International Cooperation of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Foreign Affairs Office of Hebei province, Cangzhou municipality attended the conference. Leaders of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, relative department of Cangzhou, enterprises representatives and other guests attended the conference online.
